Founding Principal

For over 25 years, Stu has counseled clients in the areas of estate planning, federal income tax planning, trust and probate administration, asset protection, business succession planning, charitable gift planning, ownership restructuring, business startups, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and executive compensation planning. He represents both individual and business clients throughout Ohio across a variety of industry segments

As the founding member of Horwitz & Damicone, LLC, Stu was driven to create a law firm that embraced creative ideas and unique solutions. His L.L.M. in Taxation along with his Ohio State Bar Association Specializations in Federal Taxation and Estate Planning,Trust and Probate Law, his accreditation as a NAEPC Estate Planning Legal Specialist and an Accredited Estate Planner make him uniquely qualified to handle matters from basic to the most complex.


Stu works very closely with his clients to help them fulfill their goals, achieve their dreams and avoid costly pitfalls. Whether it is structuring a business, helping with tax planning, buying or selling a business, creating a comprehensive estate plan, setting up a charitable foundation or a special needs trust, he works diligently to help clients achieve their desired goals.
